Pride March Committee

The Pride March Committee is dedicated to organizing and executing Equality Cape May's annual Pride March, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and impactful event that celebrates LGBTQIA2S+ visibility, community, and advocacy. The committee works to foster a welcoming environment that strengthens local support for LGBTQIA2S+ individuals and promotes justice for all.

• Planning the logistics of the Pride march, including route selection, chants, signs/flags/displays, etc. 

• Coordinating with local officials and community partners

• Organizing pre and post march activities such as rally points, speakers, and other program elements

• Recruiting and overseeing volunteers for event set up and crowd coordination
